CLAREMORE, Okla. – Head women's golf coach
Lexi Johnson has announced the signing of Abby Chang and Peyton Black on National Signing Day. The duo will join the team for the 2026-27 season.
"I am excited to welcome two Oklahomans to the Hill," Johnson remarked on the players joining the program. "Both Peyton and Abby are great additions who fit the character and work ethic we value in our program. They are motivated players who I know will continue to grow and contribute to our team's success."
Chang is a three-time letter winner in golf for the Broken Arrow Tigers. She has excelled academically as a member of the National Honor Society, a three-time Academic All-Conference recipient and is an All-State Orchestra performer. Chang plans to major in biochemistry at RSU.
Black comes to the Hill from Seminole State College. A career highlight for the Midwest City, Oklahoma, native was finishing second at the Crestview Fall Invitational with the Trojans. In high school, she attended Carl Albert, where she was a state champion for the Titans. Black intends to earn a degree in medical/molecular biology at Rogers State.
