ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The No. 21 women's golf team is in 10th place with a score of 324 (+37) after the first round of the Regional Preview at St. Joseph Country Club on Monday.
Southwestern Oklahoma State and Harding, both from the Great American Conference, are tied for first with a score of 308 (+20). Arkansas-Fort Smith follows them at (+22) in third, Central Oklahoma in fourth at (+23) and Sioux Falls (+31) in fifth.
Senior
Brianna Maddux and freshman
Lou Fourdan are tied for 15th, leading the Hillcats with scores of 78 (+6) heading into Tuesday's finale. Lauren Evans from UAFS and Genevieve Akers from Pitt State lead the individual race, both finishing at even par.
Freshman
Lara Foigel (Ind.) is in 31st with a score of 80 (+8). She is followed by sophomore
Milena Andres in 54th (+11), junior
Lauren Anderson in 76th (+14) and junior
Rylan Ashley in 100th (+20).
RSU will conclude the Regional Preview on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
