The Granbury, Texas native made 10 appearances as a sophomore registering a .324 batting average. She helped the Pioneers to a school record 47 wins and a runner-up finish at the NJCAA Region II tournament as a freshman in 2013. Spencer hit .332 with 13 doubles and 10 home runs in 57 games during her first season at the collegiate level. She was an all-state selection in 2012 as a senior at Granbury High School being named District 7-4A Offensive Player of the Year and team MVP.
