Biography

About: Ayarzagoitia comes to the Hill after an impressive junior college career at Odessa College. Playing for head Coach Joel Prickett, she helped the Wranglers to a conference championship her freshman season and conference runner-up finish as a sophomore. She was named all-region catcher twice and was an all-conference selection as a freshman. In 2012 she finished with a .389 batting average with 65 hits, 18 doubles, eight home runs, and 47 RBI. As a junior and senior at H.M. King High School she was named First Team All-District as a catcher. Desireé chose RSU because she “liked the college campus and the athletic program’s success.”
