CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Rogers State Athletic Department had 45 student-athletes named 2019-20 Academic Achievement Award Recipients by the Division 2 Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA), announced the organization on Thursday.
In order for a student-athlete to receive an Academic Achievement Award, the athletics director of the Division II institution MUST BE a CURRENT dues-paying member of the D2 ADA.
Chris Ratcliff served as the D2 ADA President for the 2019-20 academic year. Also, the student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, must have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work, and must have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.
At least one member from all 12 Hillcat athletic programs earned the honor, with women's soccer leading the way for Rogers State with 11 recipients.
