SHAWNEE, Okla. - Rogers State took care of business Friday afternoon with a 5-0 victory over St. Gregory's amid soggy field conditions in Shawnee, Okla.

Junior Kimmia Parker ended a two-game scoring drought with two goals in the first 20 minutes of the match. Sophomore Lauren Hager added a strike 22 seconds before halftime to give the Hillcats a 3-0 advantage. Casey Freeman and Tiffany Roberts tacked on goals in the second period to reach the final margin.

Bailey Lynn and Jessica McCutcheon combined on the shutout as RSU kept its opponent out the net for the seventh time in 12 games this season. Lynn recorded the lone save as the Cats outshot the Lady Cavs, 14-4.

Rogers State (10-2, 3-1) moved into sole possession of the second place in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings with the victory. The Hillcats will travel to Siloam Springs, Ark., Wednesday to face John Brown. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m.
