The Wichita Falls, Texas native posted a .289 batting average and tied for the team lead with eight doubles, while her 27 runs scored was second for RSU. She tallied one triple, one home run, and 15 RBI and recorded 10 multi-hit games, primarily as the designated hitter. As a sophomore in 2014, she saw action in 51 games with 50 starts behind the plate. Kowalick drove in 17 runs with eight doubles and a .281 batting average. She came to RSU after one season at Independence Community College playing for Head Coach Barbara Burnett, where she earned NJCAA All-Region and KJCAA All-Conference honors in 2013. She also was named an Academic All-American from the KJCAA. Kowalick played 51 games for the Lady Pirates posting a .436 batting average on 75 hits with 14 doubles, four triples, and one home run as a freshman. She completed her Petrolia High School career for Head Coach DeDe Gray in 2012 helping the Pirates reach the Texas state finals. She hit .500 as a senior with 18 extra-base hits and was selected as the catcher of the University Interscholastic League State Tournament team while being named all-state by the Coaches Association and first-team all-district.
