About: Helguera comes to RSU after spending two seasons at Mt. San Antonio College playing for Head Coach Ruby Rojas. The native of San Bernardino, California posted a 2-2 record in the circle for the Mounties in 18 appearances throwing 38.2 innings as a sophomore. In her freshman season, she registered an 8-4 record in 64.2 innings of work. Helguera made the Dean's Honor Roll both semesters of her first year at Mt. San Antonio College. The daughter of Maria Centeno and Arturo Helguera, she said she chose RSU because of "a softball scholarship."
