Biography

About: Laing comes to the Hill after helping Owasso High School to an Oklahoma 6A State championship for head coach Larry Turner in 2013. The Owasso, Okla., native posted a perfect 7-0 record on the mound for the Rams while striking out 70 in 70 innings pitched. Laing was named Academic All-Conference as a senior. His first three seasons with the varsity team, Laing and the Rams finished as state runner-up twice and won a regional championship once. He said he chose RSU because "of baseball and school."
