About: Geissler returns to the Hill for her senior season after a 2014 campaign where she started 14 matches in the midfield for the navy and red. A native of Owasso, Oklahoma, she appeared in all of the Hillcats' 17 matches making nine starts as a sophomore. She also landed a spot on the 2014-15 Heartland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. Geissler netted one goal coming in the season finale against Newman and added a lone assist against Bacone for three points in 2013. She made 15 appearances in her first season at RSU in 2012 tallying one goal. Geissler joined the Hillcats from Owasso High School where she was an Oklahoma Class 6A All-State selection as a senior in 2012 tallying five goals and eight assists under Head Coach Sam Bowers. During her junior season, she compiled three goals and three assists. She recorded four assists as a sophomore and scored two goals with six assists as a freshman. Geissler was named academic honorable mention three times and was a two-time Coach’s Choice Award winner. She was named the Rams Player of the Year as a freshman in 2009. The daughter of Chris and Lisa Geissler, she said she chose RSU because "I love the community and people in the town. The program is moving forward in the right direction; plus it's close to home and gives a great education."
