About: Hallford is back on the Hill for her third season after seeing action in 16 matches as a sophomore in 2013 making nine starts for RSU. She netted a pair of goals in the Hillcats victory over Texas-Permian Basin and added her third goal of the year at Oklahoma Christian. She also distributed two assists on the season for a total of eight points, ranking fourth on the 2013 squad. Hallford had a breakout freshman season in 2012 where she led the Hillcats in goals with eight and was second on the team in assists with four. She tallied her first-career hat trick at home against Friends. She started three of her 18 appearances on the way to being named Second Team All-Sooner Athletic Conference. Hallford came to RSU from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Okla., where she was a four-year letter winner for the Sandites. As a senior at CPHS, she was the team captain, offensive MVP, all-conference, and named to the Oklahoma Class 6A All-State team while totaling seven goals and 12 assists. Hallford also was named all-conference during her sophomore and junior seasons. As a freshman, she led the team in scoring and was the offensive MVP with 13 goals and four assists. The daughter of Todd and Cookie Hallford, she said she chose RSU because of "the soccer program and it had my major."
