About: Garrett returns for her senior season on the Hill after earning Heartland Conference Third Team All-Conference honors as a junior posting a team-leading eight goals and 17 points, including goals in three consecutive contests. The Claremore, Okla., product appeared in all 17 matches for RSU in 2013 earning the start in 16 recording one game-winning goal at home against Bacone in her first-career, multi-goal game. She also was named to the NSCAA Scholar All-South Region team. As a sophomore, Garrett led the RSU backline starting all 18 games totaling two goals and one assist. She was named First Team All-Sooner Athletic Conference and a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete in 2012. She anchored the Hillcat defense as a freshman in 2011 earning RSU Defensive Player of the Year accolades. She played in all 20 contests, starting 15, netting three goals, all of which were game-winners, and distributing one assist. Garrett spent her freshman year at Oklahoma State University as a student where she made the Honor Roll. In high school, she helped the Claremore Zebras to a state quarterfinal appearance during her junior and senior seasons. She was named to the Oklahoma All-State team her senior year and was selected as all-district honorable mention her junior year. At Claremore High School, she was coached by former Hillcat soccer standout Robin Sutherland. The daughter of Rick and April Garrett, she said she chose RSU because "I wanted to play soccer and it is in my hometown."
