LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The 2026 NFCA/GoRout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll was released Tuesday, and Rogers State softball was ranked 18th with 124 points.
RSU concluded last season with an impressive 39-15 record, including a 16-8 mark in the MIAA. The Hillcats were the runner-up at the MIAA Tournament and secured their spot in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive season.
Central Oklahoma (11th) and Missouri Southern (24th) also represented the MIAA in the poll, while Augustana (S.D.) was picked ninth, the highest in the Central Region. Two-time defending national champions UT Tyler earned a unanimous selection as the preseason favorite.
The 2026 season will begin Jan. 30-Feb. 1 at the Gulf Shores Invitational in Gulf Shores, Alabama. RSU's opening game is against Montevallo (Ala.) on Jan. 30 at 11 a.m., followed by a matchup with Valdosta State (Ga.) at 1:15 p.m. For more information on the schedule, visit
