Five Softball Hillcats Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State softball had five student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17.
 
Abbey Rogers was named an NFCA and D2CCA All-American earlier this year as well as picking up First Team All-MIAA honors. She finished the regular season with a .487 average along with 46 RBI, nine home runs, a .783 slugging percentage and a .547 on base percentage. She led the MIAA in OBP and was second in average, slugging percentage, total hits (74) and OPS (1.330), which is on base percentage plus slugging percentage.
 
Jade Sanders was named D2CCA All-Region and Second Team All-MIAA. Sanders concluded the regular season with a 13-6 record and two saves in the circle, pitching to a 2.16 ERA over 132.2 innings. She finished ranked sixth in the MIAA in ERA.
 
Harley Culie was named Second Team All-MIAA. Culie finished the regular season with a 17-5 record in the circle, with four saves, and pitched to a 2.57 ERA over 150.0 innings, recording 121 strikeouts and holding opposing hitters to a .230 average. She ranked third in the league in innings pitched, fourth in wins, sixth in saves, and eighth in strikeouts.
 
Callie Yellin was named Second Team All-MIAA. Yellin finished the regular season with a .333 average, a team-high of 12 home runs, 43 RBI, and a .660 slugging percentage.
 
Chloe Bohuslavicky was named Second Team All-MIAA. Bohuslavicky finished the regular season with a .317 average, 45 RBI, 10 home runs, and a .617 slugging percentage.
 
College Sports Communicators (CSC) was founded in 1957 and is a 3,200-plus member national organization comprised of the sports public relations, media relations and communications/information professionals throughout all levels of collegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The second oldest management association in all of intercollegiate athletics, CSC became an affiliated partner with NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) in December of 2008. CSC has been the proud provider of the Academic All-America® Program and Hall of Fame since 1952.
