CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State women's basketball (4-19, 2-15 MIAA) fell to Northwest Missouri (12-11, 7-10 MIAA) on Thursday.

Two Hillcats finished in double figures.
Kaya Goldsby led RSU with 11 points to go with six rebounds, six assists and a steal.
Trinity Jackson put up 10 points with a team-leading seven rebounds and an assist.

Kamryn Estell all contributed eight points apiece.

The Hillcats started hot as opened the game with four quick points, but the Bearcats responded with a 7-2 run to take a 7-6 lead. RSU answered back with a 6-0 run of their own to go back up 12-7. They eventually carried a 15-12 lead into the final 10 minutes of the half.

They continued to build out their lead in the second quarter as the Hillcats outscored NWMSU 15-7 in the period. After a quick three-pointer from the Bearcats to open the quarter, RSU ripped off an 11-2 run to take a 24-17 lead. They then closed out the half with back-to-back buckets to take their largest lead of the half at 30-19 going into the break.

After the Hillcats scored three quick points to open the second half and push out to their largest lead of the game at 33-19, NWMSU rapidly dissolved the deficit with a 21-4 run, including six threes with four from Molly Hartnett, to reclaim the lead 41-37 and carry a 41-39 margin into the fourth quarter.

The Bearcats didn't slow down in the fourth quarter as they outpaced the Hillcats 20-11 and eventually took the 61-50 win.
