WICHITA, Kan. – Tara Garrett scored her first collegiate goal in the 28th minute to lift the Rogers State women's soccer team over Friends University 1-0 on Friday evening.
The win marks the Hillcats second straight victory and first road win of the season.
RSU fired eight shots on frame while the Falcons recorded four shots on goal. Chelsea McMullin registered her second straight shutout victory in goal.
Rogers State (3-1-2) will return to Soldier Field on Thursday as they host Wayland Baptist in the Sooner Athletic Conference opener at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on www.rsuhillcats.com/live.
