CLAREMORE, Okla. - The Rogers State women's soccer team remained unbeaten on the week as they cruised to a 4-0 victory over Mid-America Christian on Friday afternoon.

Three different Hillcats recorded goals and sophomore Chelsea McMullin collected her fifth shutout of the season with six saves.

Freshman Jordan Beasley registered the go-ahead goal in the 37th minute of play. Junior Lauren Hager slotted the ball to Beasley who fired it upper 90, backside from the top of the box, giving the goalkeeper no chance for a save.

The Hillcats clung to a 1-0 lead at intermission.

Beasley ignited the scoring in the second stanza. The Lafayette, La. native scored her seventh goal of the season in the 54th minute. Once again it was Hager who passed the ball to Beasley who beat the keeper one on one and found the back of the net.

Sophomore Melissa Subu added to the advantage in the 70th minute as she converted a penalty kick to give RSU a 3-0 lead.

Minutes later, freshman Blair Thomas blasted a shot from 30 yards out that ricocheted off the crossbar however, MACU was able to clear the ball out of danger.

Senior Abby Rickner sealed the victory in the 88th minute as she scored off Jessica Turner's first assist of the season.

Melissa Dobie was tagged with the loss in goal as she allowed four goals and made four saves.

Rogers State (8-5, 5-3) returns to Sooner Athletic Conference action on Tuesday as it travels to Shawnee, Okla. to face St. Gregory's at 1 p.m.
