EDMOND, Okla. - Rogers State closed out a grueling two-day road trip with two losses to Oklahoma Christian Tuesday afternoon in Edmond, Okla.

After being swept by Southern Nazarene Monday, the Hillcats were unable to bounce back against the Lady Eagles. OC rallied for six runs in the late innings to post a 10-6 victory in the opener. Eight RSU errors led to a 13-7 loss in the nightcap. The Cats have now lost four straight games since upsetting No. 3 Lubbock Christian last week.
GAME ONE
Â
The Hillcats let a one-run lead slip away in the opener as OC exploded for six runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Katie Bointy gave RSU a 5-4 advantage with a two-run homer to left field in the top of the fifth, but the lead was short-lived.
Ashley Calles ripped a two-run triple to right in the bottom of the inning to put the Eagles back on top by one. Calles scored on a single by Deidre Chatigny and OC tacked on three more runs with four hits in the bottom of the sixth.
Sarah Harvey cut into the lead with a solo home run in the top of the sixth, but Leigh Leonard retired the last four Hillcats in order to secure the win. Tye Coats (15-8) took the loss for RSU.
