CLAREMORE, Okla. - Sophomore Bryce Taylor was the star of the show in the Hillcats first match under the new lights at Soldier Field Thursday night.

The Broken Arrow, Okla., product scored three goals and led Rogers State to a 3-0 victory over Tabor College in Claremore. Taylor tied a team record for goals in a single match, becoming just the second player in the program's brief history to tally a hat trick.

The match was scoreless for 41 minutes before Taylor put the Cats in front near the end of the first half. His second goal came seven minutes into the second half on an assist from freshman Victor Brown. Taylor found the back of the net a third time at the 69:44 mark to put the contest out of reach.

Freshman goalie Tou Yang turned in a terrific performance between the posts. He notched seven saves and recorded his third shutout in as many starts this season. The Hillcats dominated the pace of play with 25 shots to the Bluejays 9.

Rogers State (4-1) returns to action Sunday afternoon. The Hillcats will host Bethel College in men's and women's matches beginning at 2 p.m. at Soldier Field.
