ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The Rogers State women's soccer team rebounded from its first loss of the season with a 4-0 drubbing of Missouri Valley College in St. Charles, Mo., Sunday.

Freshmen Summer White and Emily Givan posted first half goals to put the Hillcats in front 2-0 at the break. Sophomore Tiffany Roberts added a second half score on an assist from Kendall Clement. Givan topped off the scoring barrage with her second goal of the match in the 71st minute.

Sophomore goalie Bailey Lynn recorded her first win between the posts this season with a shutout performance. Lynn posted six first half saves while Jessica McCutcheon added four second half stops. RSU tallied 22 shots in the match to the Vikings 12.

Rogers State (3-1) will take a week off before returning to the pitch. The Hillcats will host Friends University Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m.
