Hillcat Men Lose to Lindenwood, 3-0

ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Rogers State couldn't find the back of the net and suffered its first loss of the season as Lindenwood University stopped the Cats 3-0 in St. Charles, Mo., Friday.
 

Igor Inic scored first for the Lions with a goal 25 minutes into the match. Ivan Mijatovic gave Lindenwood a two-goal lead just before the half with a strike in the 43rd minute. The Hillcats posted just two shots on goal and Lions goalie Bryce Flynn turned away both chances. Ignacio Novas finished off RSU with the final goal of the match at 75:05.
 

RSU sophomore Sean Surridge yielded all three goals and tallied four saves. Eight yellow cards were issued in match with Lindenwood picking up five cautions.
 

Rogers State (2-1) will face Missouri Valley College in St. Charles, Mo., Sunday afternoon.
