CHICKASHA, Okla. - A pair of freshman teamed up for a pair of late goals as Rogers State earned a 2-0 victory at the University of Science and Arts Friday.

Rachel Atnip broke a scoreless tie in the 70th minute when she beat Drovers goalie Destiny Rachal off a rebound. Emily Givan iced the match with a goal in the final minute to give the Hillcats their third consecutive conference win.

RSU outshot the Drovers 20-6 and posted 14 shots on goal. Sophomore Bailey Lynn earned the shutout with two saves in the match.

Rogers State (12-3, 6-2) remains in fourth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference and in position to host a first round conference tournament match. The Hillcats will host their final home game of the regular season Wednesday against John Brown. Seniors Carey Cloud, Carrie Ritz and DeAnna Bayouth will be honored prior to the match. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
