SHAWNEE, Okla. - A pair of late goals allowed Rogers State to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat as the Hillcats topped Oklahoma Baptist 2-1 in Shawnee, Okla., Saturday.

RSU trailed 1-0 after Mengjun Zang put the Lady Bison in front in the sixth minute of the match. The Hillcats struggled to breakthrough until freshman Summer White converted a penalty kick in the 74th minute to even the score. Sophomore Jessica May tallied the game winning goal just six minutes later and RSU escaped with an important conference win.

The Cats outshot OBU 14-9 and held the Lady Bison to just two shots on goal. Sophomore Bailey Lynn had one save in 90 minutes between the posts. White capped off an impressive week with Saturday's goal. She finished the week with four goals, including a hat trick against Mid-America Christian Tuesday.

Rogers State (11-3, 5-2) climbed into fourth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference and is now just a half game out of second. The Hillcats will travel to Chickasha, Okla., Friday to face USAO in another conference match. Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
