Jasmine Cincore is in her first season as a member of the RSU Women's Basketball coaching staff, joining the program in July of 2019 as an assistant coach.
Cincore comes to Rogers State after spending one season as an assistant coach on the staff of the women’s basketball program at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
In her one season with the junior college program, Cincore helped develop the basketball program to improve in nearly every major statistical category from the previous season. She also served as the strength and conditioning coach for the women’s basketball program.
Cincore joined Murray State after wrapping up a four-year career at the University of Nebraska, where the guard was a two-year starter and named Nebraska’s Defensive MVP as a senior. Cincore was twice named the Lifter of the Year for the program and helped Nebraska reach and play in two NCAA Tournaments.
Over four seasons, the two-way player appeared in 112 games with 66 starts, averaging 20.3 minutes per game. Cincore shot 33 percent from the field, averaging 5.0 points per game with 287 rebounds, 184 assists, 101 steals and 19 blocks.
Cincore was also a leader in the classroom for the Huskers, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll seven times. Cincore was also named to Nebraska’s Tom Osborne Citizenship Team all four years in Lincoln.
Prior to her time in Lincoln, Nebraska, Cincore had a storied career at Briarcrest Christian in Tennessee. She was named the Tennessee Class 2-AA Player of the Year in 2013 and 2014 to go along with Tennessee Class 2-AA All-State honors and the Tennessee Class 2-AA West Region Player of the Year honors. She was also named to the All-Tennessee First Team by USA Today as a senior in 2014.
Cincore has also worked several high-profile basketball camps and has spent considerable time over the last few years serving the community by volunteering as a youth leader, FCA leader and an elementary school mentor. She also traveled to Kenya in 2017 for a service trip.
Cincore graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations in May of 2018.
