Candice Chaney returns to the Rogers State sidelines for her second season as assistant women's basketball coach.
Chaney joined the Hillcats prior to the start of the 2013-14 campaign from Texas Lutheran University where she worked as a student assistant basketball coach for four seasons under former RSU Head Women's Basketball Coach Roxanne Long. After graduating in 2012, she continued her role with TLU women's basketball program as an assistant coach.Â
Chaney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas Lutheran and was a four-year letter winner on the track and field team. During her four years with the track team, the Bulldogs tallied three American Southwest Conference Championships.
In her role at RSU she will coordinate travel, serve as an academic advisor, on-the-floor coaching, scouting, and recruiting. Chaney is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sport Management from Southwestern Oklahoma State.
