Biography

About: Miles started 12 games and appeared in all 32 as a junior in 2009-10. She led the Hillcats in steals and was second in blocks while also averaging six points and three rebounds per contest as a sophomore during the 2008-09 campaign. The Dallas native scored a career-high 18 points vs. Ecclesia College on 12/30/08. She saw action in 20 games as a freshman in 2007-08. Nicknamed “Pooh,” Miles signed with Alabama State University out of high school to play volleyball. Her older brother CJ Miles is a four-year NBA veteran currently with the Utah Jazz.

Williams on Miles: “Pooh has been one of the best on-ball defenders in this program for the past 3 years. She has gradually worked herself into becoming a more consistent offensive threat and as a 4th-year senior, we expect her to be a big part of our team’s success.”
