Kerry Hallman enters his second season with the RSU softball team as an assistant coach after joining the program on June 1, 2016.
With the Hillcats, Hallman works with overall player development, specifically with the offense and defensively with the catchers. He also assists with the strength and conditioning program and offseason workouts for the team, while aiding in the recruiting efforts.
Formerly the head baseball and softball coach at Oologah High School, Hallman brings tremendous coaching experience in northeastern Oklahoma to the Hill. Hallman also took the reins of the softball team following the departure of Andrea Vaughan for RSU back in 2012 and led the program to three district championships in three seasons. He was a softball assistant for the Mustangs under Coach Vaughan helping the team to an Oklahoma Class 4A state championship in 2012.
He also coached two seasons as an assistant with the baseball team at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M before spending two years as an assistant baseball and softball coach at Miami High School.
