Bianca Oakley is in her second season as a student assistant for RSU softball. Oakley is a former softball standout at Bacone College in Muskogee and College of the Desert, a junior college in Palm Desert, CA. Her accomplishments during her two years at College of the Desert include being named First Team All-Conference (2002, 2003), First Team All-State California (2003), and Female Athlete of the Year (2003). At Bacone, Oakley earned honors as First Team All-Conference (2004, 2005), First Team All -egion (2005), Honorable Mention All-American (2004), and was named Conference Player of the Week several times during 2004 and 2005. Oakley is a graduate of Indio (Calif.) High School and is currently working on an undergraduate degree at RSU.
