Biography

About: Farrington was a late addition to the Hillcats 2008 signing class. He originally committed to Oral Roberts and was also recruited by Tulane, Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M among others. Farrington averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds as a senior at Christian Life Center Academy in Houston. More than a dozen of Farrington’s high school teammates signed with Division I programs, including DeAndre Jordan, who was later drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 35th pick of the 2008 draft.

Williams on Farrington: Scottie is probably our best athlete when it comes to running and jumping. He has an unbelievable ability to block shots in the paint which will allow us to pressure the ball more on the perimeter. We feel really good about his ability to rebound as well.
