Men’s Golf Tabbed 10th in MIAA Preseason Coaches’ Poll

RSU opens the fall season at The Mule in Missouri on Sept. 8-9

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA released its 2026-27 Men's Golf Preseason Coaches' Poll on Thursday, and the Hillcats were picked 10th.
 
RSU garnered 14 points in the poll. The team welcomes back six returners from last season and adds five freshmen for the 2026-27 campaign.
 
Central Oklahoma earned the No. 1 spot in the preseason coaches' poll with 77 points and five first-place votes. Washburn was picked second with 71 points and three first-place votes. Central Missouri secured the No. 3 position with 69 points and the remaining two first-place votes. Missouri Western ranked fourth with 51 points, while Arkansas-Fort Smith rounded out the top five with 44 points.
 
Rogers State will open the fall season on Sept. 8-9 at The Mule, held at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Missouri. The 2027 MIAA Men's Golf Championship is scheduled for April 19-21 at Jefferson City Country Club in Jefferson City, Missouri.
