CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State Women's Golf is set to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf National Championship at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The championship will begin with three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play from Tuesday to Thursday, featuring 18 holes each day. On Friday, the quarterfinals (top eight teams) and semifinals (top four teams) will be held, leading up to the championship match on Saturday, where the two finalists will compete for the national title. The Hillcats are aiming for their first appearance in match play.

Milena Andres, and freshmen
Lou Fourdan and
Clara Ledun. Freshman
Lara Foigel will also travel as a substitute. The team will begin stroke play on Tuesday at 8:40 a.m. CT.

AN ELITE HONOR FOR BRIANNA MADDUX
Maddux once again made history for her excellence in the classroom, becoming the first Hillcat in department history to earn the Elite Scholar-Athlete Award at the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship. She was awarded this honor before Monday's practice round.
The prestigious honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average among those participating at the finals site for each NCAA championship.
A two-time All-MIAA selection, Maddux was also the first female student-athlete from RSU to receive the "A Game" Scholar-Athlete honor, which is given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA in the MIAA Championship.
HISTORY AT THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP
This year marks the fourth time in program history that Rogers State will appear at nationals. Their inaugural tournament appearance was in 2021, when they finished 12th. They finished 14th in 2022 and 15th in their last appearance in 2024.
Last season,
Lydia Sitorus (2021-25) represented the Cats' as an individual, finishing tied for 55
th in the individual standings at Boulder Creek GC in Boulder City, Nevada.
HOW WE GOT HERE
RSU secured a third-place finish at the NCAA Division II Central Regional, held at the St. Joseph Country Club, posting a three-round score of 937 (+730) last week.
Maddux led the Hillcats at the regional tournament, tying for eighth place with a score of 229 (+13). Anderson finished tied for 15th with a score of 232 (+16). Andres improved from a 41st-place finish at last year's regional, tying for 24th this year with a score of 237 (+21). Ledun made her regional championship debut, finishing tied for 40th with a score of 241 (+25), while Fourdan rounded out the team in 62nd place with a total of 245 (+29) in her regional debut.
En route to regionals, the Hillcats left no doubt after placing third at the 2026 MIAA Championship at Mule National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Missouri, with Andres (t-3rd) and Anderson (t-9th) leading the way.
