RSU Dance Set for DTU Nationals: The College Classic 2026 in Orlando

The Hillcats will compete on April 10-12 at the Orange County Convention Center

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Following a regional title this past January, the RSU Dance team is set to compete April 10-12 at the DTU Nationals: The College Classic 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
 
"Thank you to my team for their hard work, commitment, and dedication as we have rebuilt the dance team this season," said RSU Dance head coach Taylor Marshall. "Your passion for dance and devotion to our team's goals have revitalized the program. I look forward to our continued success as we represent Rogers State University on the national stage. Go Hillcats!"
 
Competition will kick off at 6:36 p.m. CT on Friday, April 10, in the Super Spirit Showdown Finals at the Orange County Convention Center, West Hall B2 (Arena A). The RSU Cheer and Dance teams will collaborate to compete against Abilene Christian, Greenville and Wright State.
 
RSU Dance will compete in the Division II Hip Hop preliminaries at 10:30 a.m. CT on Saturday, April 11, at the Orange County Convention Center, West Hall B3 (Arena B). The finals are scheduled for 9:48 a.m. CT on Sunday in the same location.
 
On January 24, 2026, the Hillcats secured the Division II Hip Hop regional championship title at the Dance Team Union Regional Competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This victory earned them a bid for the 2027 DTU College Classic Nationals.
 
Before heading to Florida, fans can see the Hillcats' routines up close during the Nationals Showcase, hosted by the RSU Dance and Cheer teams on April 8 at 7 p.m. in the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center Ballroom on the Rogers State University campus.
