LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The NFCA released its first regular-season national poll on Tuesday, and Rogers State softball jumped six spots to 12th with 192 points.
The Hillcats opened the 2026 season strong, going 7-2 in the opening weeks. They started the season 3-2 at the Gulf Shores Invitational in Alabama, securing wins over Valdosta State, Union and Spring Hill. Last weekend at the inaugural Rogers State Festival, the Hillcats went a perfect 4-0, including three shutout victories, extending their winning streak to six games.
In the poll, Auburn-Montgomery moved into the top spot. From the MIAA, Central Oklahoma climbed three spots to seventh, while Missouri Southern jumped seven spots to 17th. RSU will also face No. 11 Southern Arkansas and No. 24 Oklahoma Baptist this weekend at the Tahlequah Softball Festival, along with No. 14 Oklahoma Christian at the RCB Bank Sports Complex on Feb. 17.
