KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA released its 2025-26 Women's Golf Preseason Coaches' Poll on Monday morning, and the Hillcats were selected to finish fifth.
The Hillcats collected 100 points in the poll and two first-place votes (second in the league). RSU finished tied with Missouri Southern and Washburn for fifth at the MIAA Tournament last.
Central Missouri, the reigning MIAA champions and national runner-up, were picked to defend its title, leading the league in the poll with 143 points and 11 first-place votes. Arkansas-Fort Smith follows in second place with 120 points, while Nebraska-Kearney and Northwest Missouri State rank third and fourth, with 108 and 104 points, respectively.
The Hillcats kicked off their season at The NSU Women's Classic this morning, held at Page Belcher Golf Course in Tulsa.
