CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State women's basketball (6-5) cruised to an 81-41 win over Randall (10-5) on Monday with Claremore Elementary School in attendance at the Expo Center.

All 12 Hillcats that saw action scored at least three points.
Alayzha Knapp led RSU with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals.
Amaya Gallegos added nine points with two rebounds and two steals.
Cayden Mershon and
Kamryn Estell both finished with eight points apiece with Mershon adding five rebounds, three assists and a steal while Estell added three rebounds.

The Hillcats opened the game on a 16-2 run and never looked back. In the first quarter, they outscored the Saints 22-6. After RSU pushed the lead out to 23 points at 36-13, Randall began to show some fight as they were able to get the margin back down to 16 point at 38-22 with only 2:37 left in the half. RSU regained the momentum and took a 45-27 lead into the break after only outscoring the Saints 23-21 in the period.

RSU ran away with the game in the second half as they outscored Randal 18-7 in each of the final two quarters to claim the 81-41 win.

The Hillcats will now take a break for the holidays and return to action in 2024 as they open the year with a two-game MIAA homestand beginning with Missouri Western on Thursday, Jan. 4. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
