CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State women's soccer (4-4-3, 1-2-1 MIAA) dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 4 Central Missouri (10-0-1, 4-0 MIAA) on Friday.

In the first half, the Jennies wasted no time applying intense offensive pressure. In the period they managed to outshoot the Hillcats 8-2 with four shots on goal compared to just one. UCM got on the board in the 19th minute as Kloee Grub scored on a corner kick from Andree Orcutt to take a 1-0 lead. The Jennies struck again in the 30th minute as Ashleigh Martin found the back of the next off a pass from Emma Burden to carry a 2-0 advantage into the locker room.

The visitors kept up the pressure on in the second half as RSU found few offensive opportunities. UCM once again outshot the Hillcats 8-4 in the period with both teams getting three shots on goal. The Jennies would net one final goal in the 74th minute as Julia Kristensen knocked the ball in off a corner kick from Caroline Cole to seal the game 3-0.

The Hillcats will close out the four game homestand on Sunday, Oct. 2 as they welcome Missouri Southern to Soldier Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
