CLAREMORE, Okla. - Rogers State women's basketball fell to the visiting Emporia State Hornets 107-45 in MIAA play on Thursday night at the Claremore Expo Center.

How it Happened: The Hornets (18-5, 11-3 MIAA) got off to a fast start over the Hillcats (4-20, 2-13 MIAA), hitting four three-pointers in the first quarter. They would finish the half shooting 9-for-17 from the three-point line.

After a 15-9 first quarter, Emporia would outscore the Hillcats 42-9 in the second quarter, as the Hillcats would trail the Hornets 57-18 at the break.

The Hornets would carry over their momentum into the second half, as redshirt freshman Tre'Zure Jobe, would be a key aspect for the Hornets, finishing the game with 33 points in the victory.

Key Statistics: The Hornets shot 48.1 percent from the field and 93.8 percent from the free-throw line, while the Hillcats shot only 30.9 percent from the field and 52.9 percent from the free-throw line.
