Rogers State would hang with the hosts for the majority of the second quarter, trailing by just 34-30 before the Lions would go on an 8-0 run at the end of the half to take a 12-point lead into the break.
The Hillcats would be unable to match the Lions for the rest of the game, shooting 36 percent in the second half.
Key Statistic: The Lions never shot worse than 50 percent from the field in a quarter. The Lions shot 55 percent for the game while the Hillcats only shot 37 percent.

Notes: Missouri Southern completed a season sweep of the Hillcats with the win.
This was the first time the two teams played as MIAA foes, with the game earlier this season counting as non-conference game, stemming from an agreement the two schools had before the Hillcats joined the MIAA.
The Hillcats are now 0-3 against Missouri Southern all time.
What this Means: The Hillcats fall to 1-12 in the conference and remain winless on the road for the season.
Up Next: Rogers State returns home to begin the final home stand of the season next Saturday, as the Hillcats welcome in Northeastern State for the first of three-straight games in Claremore over the next two weeks. The Hillcats are set to tipoff with the RiverHawks at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 at the Claremore Expo Center.
