CLAREMORE, Okla. - The Rogers State women's basketball team rounded out its season on Sunday evening at the Claremore Expo Center, suffering a 62-47 loss to conference-leading University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Senior

The Hillcats led by as many as six in the first stanza with the advantage seesawing throughout the half. With two minutes to play in the frame, RSU's six-point lead withered away with a 6-0 run by the Lady Lions to end the half in a tie, 29-29.
The score was knotted three times in the second stanza and the Lady Lions used a 10-0 run to take a nine-point advantage. UAFS pushed the lead to double figures with nine minutes to play and held the lead the rest of the way. The Hillcats cut the deficit to eight twice with treys from
Breanna Burford and
Jade Hardy but that's as close as RSU could get.
