AUSTIN, Texas – The Rogers State men's soccer team was right with No. 23 St. Edward's but a span of less than two minutes in the first half cost them dearly falling 2-0 in Heartland Conference action Monday afternoon at Lewis-Chen Family Field.
The Hilltoppers (9-2-1 overall, 4-0 HC) broke the scoreless game open scoring twice in a span of 1:48 as Andrew Fox net his conference-leading eighth goal of the year in the 33rd minute sending a header past RSU goalkeeper
Cody Gammill.
The deficit for the Hillcats doubled when Josh Taylor took a feed from Fox and scored giving SEU a 2-0 advantage heading into halftime.
