SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - The Rogers State women's soccer team couldn't hold onto a late lead on the road as John Brown battled to a 3-1 win on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hillcats let a 1-0 lead slip away as the Golden Eagles netted three goals in the final 10 minutes of the contest.

After battling to a 0-0 draw in the first half, the Hillcats grabbed the advantage for the first time this season in the 68^th minute of play as senior Melissa Subu found the back of the net off of a Kealani Chaidez corner kick.

RSU clung to the one-goal lead until the 81^st minute as Nicole Kosin tied the game, sneaking the ball past the defense near post. Just five minutes later, JBU tallied the go-ahead goal off a free kick by Casey O'Brien. The Golden Eagles sealed the win in the 89^th minute with a goal by Laura Garcia.

JBU out shot the Hillcats 18-to-5 on the afternoon. Kristen Morency tallied the win in goal while Jordan Harris suffered the loss, making five saves while allowing three goals.

Rogers State (0-4) returns to the pitch on Sunday as the Cats travel to Midwestern State at 2 p.m.
