DALLAS, Texas – The Rogers State women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Dallas Baptist Monday afternoon at Patriot Soccer Field.
DBU outshot the Hillcats 37-5 as RSU goalkeeper Jordan Harris made 12 saves while allowing just two goals in 90 minutes of action.
The Lady Patriots first goal came in the 47th minute after a Danielle Presley shot was deflected and one timed by Emilie MacDonald to go up 1-0. MacDonald struck again in the 59th minute from five yards away to beat the keeper to the left on a first strike. The third goal of the season for MacDonald came off assists by Lea Sedwick and Jessica Salas.
Kerry Edwards earned the victory in goal for the Lady Patriots as she made one save for Dallas Baptist (8-5-1, 5-1-0).
Rogers State (3-9-1, 2-6-0) returns home to Soldier Field in Claremore, Okla. on Friday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. hosting Oklahoma Wesleyan in non-conference action. Live video streaming will be provided on the Hillcat Network at www.rsuhillcats.com/live.
