BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - The Rogers State women's basketball team rounded out the Oklahoma Wesleyan Classic with a 75-46 win over Bethany College (Kan.) on Saturday afternoon.

The Hillcats led from start to finish, opening the game with a 19-1 run over the first seven minutes of play. Senior Sierra Cornwell scored 10 of RSU's 19 points to open the contest.  The Hillcats led by double digits for all but the first three minutes of play. RSU's largest lead of 29 came with 3:29 remaining in the half.  However, the Swedes used an 11-3 run to cut the deficit to 44-23 at intermission.

RSU led by as many as 32 points in the second stanza with 11 players contributing in the scoring column. The Hillcats took care of the basketball; committing just nine turnovers while the Swedes tallied 19 turnovers. RSU nabbed 12 steals and edged BC on the boards, 37-36.

Junior Clarissa Cannon led RSU with 14 points and nine rebounds which is a season-high in both categories for the Las Vegas, Nev. native. Cornwell tallied 13 points and Kelby Fritz added 11 points to round out RSU's double digit scorers.

With the victory RSU pushes its win streak to five straight, tying them with 2009-10 Hillcat squad for the best start in program history.
