Oklahoma City, Okla. - Two second half goals propelled Mid-America Christian past the Rogers State men's soccer team on Tuesday afternoon at Evangel Field.

Javier Hernandez put the Evangels on the board in the 67th minute, firing a shot past senior goalkeeper Sean Surridge from 20 yards out.

Brett Brown sealed the win for MACU in the 87th minute, scoring off a corner kick served into the box by Benny Olvera.

RSU blasted six shots on frame but MACU goalkeeper Austin Custar recorded the shutout win.

The Hillcats (11-5-2, 5-4-1 SAC) move on to the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament which will kick off Friday, Nov. 5. Tournament schedule will be announced Wednesday.
