CLAREMORE, Okla. - Oklahoma Baptist stunned Rogers State by handing the Hillcats their first conference loss of the season Tuesday night at Soldier Field in Claremore.
Â
Lin Yan scored the only goal of the match for the Lady Bison in the 52nd minute due in part to a defensive lapse by RSU. Hillcat goalie Bailey Lynn, the reigning NAIA National Player of the Week, was left exposed and couldn't stop Yan's line drive into the left side of the net.
Â
Meanwhile, the RSU offense struggled to get anything going. The Cats managed only two shots on goal and were shutout for just the second time this season. Sarah Robinson earned the shutout victory between the posts for OBU. Lynn was credited with four saves in the loss.

Rogers State (9-2, 2-1) fell into a tie for second place in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings following the loss. The Hillcats will travel to St. Gregory's Friday afternoon to face the Lady Cavs in Shawnee, Okla. The match is slated for 1 p.m.
