CLAREMORE, Okla. - Rogers State freshman Tiffany Roberts scored one goal in each half to propel the Hillcats to a 2-1 conference tournament victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State at Soldier Field on Saturday.

The Claremore native put RSU on top 1-0 with ten minutes remaining in the first half on an assist from Heather Joplin. She added a second goal with 17:30 left in the match that proved to be the game winner. Ashley Guinn drew the Lady Rangers within striking distance on a goal with 12:03 to play. Hillcats keeper Bailey Lynn kept NWOSU out of the net the rest of the way to preserve the victory.

Rangers' keeper Kelsey Archer turned in a valiant effort to keep her team in the match by turning away 15 RSU shots on goal. The Hillcats (16-2) advanced to the semi-final round of the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament to be played Monday. Game time, opponent, will be announced on Sunday.
