2017: Made a team-high 14 starts and totaled the best earned run average of any starter at 3.47 for the season...Posted a 6-6 record, ranking second on the team in wins...Pitched a team-high 83 innings with a team-high 51 strikeouts...Totaled two complete games...Started his career in the navy and red with a shutout victory over Bacone, allowing only two hits in six innings with five strikeouts...Pitched another shutout against Bacone on April 23 in a 8-0 win, finishing with eight strikeouts and only three hits allowed in six innings...Posted a season-high nine strikeouts against Oklahoma Panhandle State on March 30.
 
Previous: Started his collegiate career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M…Finished his sophomore season with four wins, five losses and three saves…Recorded a 4.50 ERA with 61 strikeouts in 35.2 innings pitched for the Norsemen and head coach Roger Ward in 2016...As a freshman in 2013, Luce finished with a win-loss record of 3-3 and a 5.00 ERA in 18 innings pitched.
 
Prep: Attended Oologah-Talala High School in Oologah, Okla. playing for current Rogers State softball assistant Kerry Hallman…Luce finished with a record of 5-4 in his senior season for the Mustangs with a  1.96 ERA.
 
Personal: Son of Joe and Teresa Luce has a younger brother, Nathan…Said he chose RSU because it was the “best fit.”
