INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA announced its second regional rankings, and No. 17 Rogers State men's soccer collected its highest-ever ranking at third on Wednesday afternoon.
This marks the second time the Hillcats have appeared in the Super Region 3 rankings this season, following the release of the first alphabetical list last week. RSU won its first-ever regional match last year, 3-2, in an overtime thriller against Southern Nazarene.
Fort Hays State received the top seed, followed by Lincoln (#2), Rogers State (#3) and Rockhurst (#4), which rounded out the top four seeds. Also on the list were Cedarville (#5), McKendree (#6), Northeastern State (#7), Tiffin (#8), UIndy (#9), Saginaw Valley (#10), Maryville (#11) and Missouri S&T (#12).
The No. 3 and No. 4 seeds will host the first games of the tournament, while the top two teams will host two games on their campuses from Nov. 21-23. For more information, visit

The Hillcats will wrap up the regular season Thursday and Saturday against Northeastern State (8-6-2, 5-5 GAC/MIAA) and Harding (2-12-2, 0-9-1 GAC/MIAA).
Action begins against the RiverHawks in Tahlequah from DeLoache Field at 7 p.m. Earlier this season, the Hillcats claimed a 1-0 win over NSU in Claremore, with
Sam Ryder scoring his first goal of the season in the 41st minute. RSU holds a 10-4-3 record against NSU, winning four of the last five meetings in Tahlequah.
The week will conclude with the regular season finale at Soldier Field against Harding at 1 p.m., featuring senior day festivities before kickoff. RSU defeated Harding 5-0 in Searcy, Arkansas, on Sept. 25, and holds a 9-2-2 all-time advantage over the Bison.
The GAC/MIAA Tournament will be held in Hays, Kansas, on Nov. 14 and Nov. 16.
